The USRL fleet comprises medium and small-sized fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircrafts (helicopters and multi copters) equipped with avionics to enable them as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
During flight, a UAS is remotely controlled by a pilot at a ground control station, or can fly autonomously based on pre-programmed flight paths, or can even fly by using more complex dynamic automation systems.
