The USRL is comprised of a multidisciplinary team with unique experience in developing tailored-made Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). These UAS are custom-made for specific applications, based on the specific needs and requirements of the customer. It is this level of detailed customization, along with the utilization of the developed systems in contrasted environments, that generated novel and innovative ideas and concepts, with considerable marketization interest and commercialisation potential.

Such ideas and concepts for new developments include, but not limited to, novel unmanned airframes, UAS and airborne-sensors.
